10-14 Color Presses - When a printing press is described as being a 10 or 14 color press, it is describing the number of printing heads on the press. The number of printing heads on a press limits the number of different colors a printed design can contain.
270 Degree Caps - The term used to describe that an embroidery machine is able to produce a very large image on a hat, wrapping 270 degrees around the front of the hat.
Ad Specialties - Promotional products that can be customized with a company's logo or slogan. (E.g., pens, umbrellas, cups/mugs, matches)
Custom Ink Mixing - Using various color matching techniques, one is able to match an extremely large number of colors. Screen Works utilizes a pigment concentrate system that allows them to carry the ingredients to match almost any color.
Digitizing - The process of taking a customer supplied image, and turning it into commands for an embroidery machine to follow.
Large Format Vinyl Graphics - A term describing vinyl graphics for use on the side of company trucks, buildings, billboards, etc.
Multi-Flash Printing - A term used to describe the process of heating the printed image just to the point of drying, prior to printing the next color of the image. This is done to retain image quality in a print, and is sometimes required for some images.
Specialty Inks - Types of screen printing inks that differ from standard colors. Some examples are: glitter, puff, high-density, clear, and fluorescent.
